a seminar for music teachers

This session entails a practical demonstration of Garageband & Logic Studio software. Starting in Garageband, we record and edit midi and audio tracks using keyboard and guitar. Next we show how to improve composition and arrangement skills using regions and how to use Jam packs to learn about musical instruments, families and genres. During the second half of the session, we move to Logic Studio where we demonstrate vocal recording and more advanced features such as quick swipe comping and the use of channel strip pre-sets. Lastly we explain, in detail, how to build a contemporary music classroom.
