Regional Training Centres (RTC)

Apple Regional Training Centres

Working in partnership with Solutions inc. education

The Regional Training Centre programme builds on the experience and achievements of many educationalists already using Apple technology in the classroom. Training sessions and workshops are run by teachers and technicians, for teachers and technicians offering individuals the opportunity to attend courses relevant to their curriculum interests and needs.

RTCs focus their training on the curriculum-enhancing opportunities of using iLife, the multimedia software that comes with every new Mac, and features Apple’s award-winning iMovie, iPhoto, iDVD, GarageBand and iWeb applications. Teachers are also introduced to more advanced software applications, including Final Cut Express and Logic Express to help give older students a head start in preparing for careers in the creative industries. Some RTCs also run sessions aimed at helping IT staff with integration and administration of server technologies.

Complete support from Apple & Solutions inc.

We ensure that every Regional Training Centre we partner with provides high quality training. Our RTCs often use Apple Distinguished Educators to provide the added value of a practising teacher with real-world experience of integrating Apple technology into the curriculum.

Teachers who attend a course at a Regional Training Centre will discover that the Mac platform offers robust, stable, easily integrated solutions and that Macs can work seamlessly alongside PCs. Apple technology is famously easy to use, and beginners can learn quickly and intuitively. With Apple, the technology never gets in the way of the creative process. Apple’s reputation in education is synonymous with creativity. At Regional Training Centres, teachers can discover how the Mac platform offers digital solutions for all subjects in the curriculum, learn how Apple’s creative tools can help children learn more effectively and explore how technology can break down barriers between different ability groups and between the classroom and the outside world.

Mac OS X Server Essentials v10.4

"I attended the course with great anticipation, as at the time when I did the course I was the only person there who was not actually working with Apple Mac's. I found the Mac OS X and OS X Server Essentials Training Course to be both helpful and informative and I can honestly say that every one there the staff and other trainees where friendly and helpful.
I would be happy to recommend this course to anyone thing of getting to grips with Apple Mac's and in particular Mac OS X and OS X Server.
It was a experience that I really enjoyed. I am now using Apple Mac's in conjunction with a PC and I feel a lot more confident than I did before.
Thanks to every one at the AppleCentre Brighton & Hove Solutions Inc. (Ltd)!"
John Jackson
