WAMUG - Wessex Apple Mac User Group

On a rather rainy Tuesday evening 16th February, the WAMUG (Wessex Apple Mac User Group) met at the Solutions inc. Bournemouth Store, as they do every 3rd Tuesday of the month. WAMUG is open to experts and beginners alike, is independent of Solutions inc. and can be contacted via the WAMUG website.

Richard Furber, Solutions inc. Retail Operations Manager says:

"That evening evening Marcos (Solutions inc.) gave a half-hour presentation on Numbers, Apple's own spreadsheet software, part of the iWork package. It went rather well with WAMUG members familiar with the software adding valuable comment of their own. We then broke for tea and biscuits, where I got to meet the members - an interesting bunch they are too!"

The second part of the evening involved WAMUG members showing off their favourite free OSX application. There were some pretty good ones - and this inspired me to ask if I could show my own personal favourite free app. Google Sketch-Up.

All in all, I can highly recommend the WAMUG and thank them for their feedback.
