An introduction to Final Cut Pro
Apple Certified Professional Level 1

This three day hands on course introduces you to the primary features and interface on Final Cut Pro. In this course, you learn basic setup, preferences, capturing video and audio, editing and trimming, ripple, roll, slip and slide tools audio creation and editing, finishing and final output.

This is for anyone looking to edit professional quality video using Final Cut Pro or Final Cut Express.

Certification
This course covers the requirements for Apple Certified Pro Level 1. An exam is included at the end of the course.

You are required to have an Apple Tech ID number before registering for any Apple exam. There is more detail on registering for Apple exams at training.apple.com/certification/

Prerequisites
An understanding of the Mac OS X and basic computer navigation.
Experience of video editing either using Final Cut or another editing system

This course is not suitable for anyone completely new to video editing. We recommend that you will have already attended the Final Cut Primer course.
